RockMUG holds both General Meetings (free and open to the public) and Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings (open to paid members, only). Membership is open to anyone. Typically, General Meetings begin with an overview of Apple news and buzz. Next, we open the floor to member questions. Quite often, one of our other members has encountered the problem that they are currently experiencing. Then, one of our members and, from time to time, representatives from Macintosh-related firms, give a presentation on a Mac or Apple-related topic. A broadband internet connection is also available so we can surf the net during the meeting. After the meeting, we adjurn to the New City Diner (127 Route 304, Nanuet, NY) for a snack at 9 pm. All general meeting are at the New City Library Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are an extremely popular benefit of RockMUG membership. In a SIG setting, we can more deeply delve into exploring a particular piece of software or task that a member would like to accomplish.
